- Can you find a convincing match?
No. After playing around with the search parameters for a while, you may be able to get a match above threshold. But, adjusting the search parameters to try and get a match on an unknown is very dangerous. We advise setting the parameters using a standard that gives a strong match, such as the example in the first PMF exercise. When analysing an unknown, resist the temptation to tweak the setttings.
