We recommend viewing the presentations in order, because they occasionally refer back to material covered earlier. For most presentations, there are web-based practical exercises that will reinforce the most important messages. Links to resources and papers mentioned in the videos are listed on presentation pages, under the documents tab.
To get a certificate of completion for the webcast course, you need to achieve a pass rate of 75% for a set of multiple choice questions. There are 36 questions, 3 for each presentation, and a 1 hour time limit. In all cases, the answers can be found in the presentations. When you are ready to take this examination, follow this link.
The webcast presentations describe the current version of Mascot Server. If you are using an earlier version, features added in later releases will be missing and there will be differences in the forms and reports. After viewing the talks, you may find it useful to refer to archived copies of slides and speaker notes that are specific to the version you are using:
