Swiss-Prot is now available for searching on this site
In collaboration with the
Swiss Institute of
Bioinformatics, we are able make
Swiss-Prot available for searching with Mascot. The FASTA file has
been expanded using the Swissknife VARSPLIC utility. This parses the annotation
text and creates new entries representing any splice variants, sequence variants, or sequence
conflicts.
