Mascot Daemon version 2.3
All Mascot Daemon version 2.3 patches have been collected into a single executable file. This will update version 2.3.x to 2.3.02, but will not update files from earlier versions.
Available Fixes
- 2854: Minor Daemon layout issues
- 2892: Daemon reports "POST operation timed out" and pauses task
- 2917: Daemon reports "Empty document returned" when retrieving results
- 2937: Mascot Daemon passes unsuitable loglevel to Mascot Distiller for quant
- 2948: Daemon merge of MGF files can produce corrupt output
- 2949: Mascot Daemon needs to support MDRO MultiFileScanNumbering peak format options property
Update procedure
- Download and save the update program MascotDaemon_20100721.exe (586 kB) to the PC running Mascot Daemon.
- If running, exit Mascot Daemon
- As a user with Administrator privileges, start the update program.
- Verify that the Mascot Daemon application directory has been correctly identified.
- Choose to apply all patches.
- After the patches have been installed you can delete the update program.
Notes
- After installing Mascot Daemon, you must run it at least once before trying to install the update patch. This is to ensure the Mascot Daemon service is created
